A student of Ustaad Abu Muhammad from the Fareed Ayaz 'Delhi Qawwal Bacchon Ka Gharana', her musical expression draws inspiration from Abida Parveen, Begum Akhtar, Farida Khanum, Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan. She lives between Goa (India) and New York (United States).
